Report of Lieut. Col. Walter G. Morrill, Twentieth Maine Infantry, of
operations March 25.
HDQRS. TWENTIETH MAINE VOLUNTEERS, March 28, 1865. CAPT.: I have the honor to report that
this regiment left camp about 7 o'clock Saturday a.m., March 25, 1865, and proceeded toward the right of the army, remaining
there until noon. From thence proceeded toward the left near Hatcher's Run, acting as support to the Second Corps in
their advance. Remained upon the field in their support during the engagement, then proceeded to camp, which was reached
about 11 p.m. Lost one man, slightly wounded.
